so basically the plot is that Robotnik has got all 7 chaos emeralds and uses them to make his badniks and other robotic creations way stronger and Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy have to get the emeralds back again. He's also upgraded his previous bases from previous games, forgot to mention that.
