'Acetylsalicylic' or formally 'Acetylsalicylic acid' is the non brand name of Asprin. I wanted to think of the most universal kinda everyday medicine and asprin is cool (though tbh i've never had it im more of a paracetamol kinda gal) We also got to make it in the lab last week which was really really fun!!
