Press space, arrows, or click. This is kind of a slideshow. _____________________________________________ OK, so, I am still in shock over the fact that I made this. I have always considered myself more of a traditional artist, and digital art has been quite hard for me to learn. And, on top of that, I'm much better at drawing characters than plants, and better at drawing plants than buildings. Then, somehow, I made this yesterday, from 10 in the morning to 3 and a half... in the morning (I feel perfectly fine and functional, don't worry). The only thing I did differently compared to my usual process was stop using an airbrush like a paint tool and, well, use an actual paintbrush tool, instead. I also based the drawing on a reference image this time. Now, pardon me while I go sit in a corner and freak out over the new-found power I wield _____________________________________________ The teaser part? This is going to be the background for another FlipaClip animation featuring Cardinal. I hope to try making it in 24 FPS, but I might drop it down to the regular 12-18 FPS if that proves to be too much. (UPDATE: I think I'm losing my sanity already, and it's only Day 4... thanks, overambitious brain that never follows through with the ideas it comes up with) Expect it around the beginning of next month. That's all I'll say. No spoilers. :) (UPDATE: Cancelled, made this with it instead: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1250142391/ ) _____________________________________________ CREDITS: - Original background by... someone on Alan Becker's team? I don't know if there's a way to find out who specifically they are. All sources turned up blank. (I think it's DJ, though) - Recreation by @hh7430EaglePride79 (AKA me) - Made in Sketchbook, the app (For those of you who are curious, I used the "Color Builder" brush, paired with "Smudge Flat Brush 3". The only thing I didn't apply the smudge tool to are the clouds.)
