Of being well liked, or well-known, or popular. The thing is—she doesn't seem to understand that everyone liking you just isn't /possible/. So she'll do everything in her power to allow for herself to be liked and appreciated. Beginning with pretending. Lou tries to mirror other cats' actions and personalities when interacting with them to make herself seem more likeable, because if you're just like another cat, surely they'll like you, right? Having a perfect balance of certain things is another important thing in her mind—ask questions to show that you're interested in learning and finding out more things, but not so many that you seem dumb. Be nice enough so that others don't dislike you, but not nice enough that they see you as weak or a push over. Respectful enough so that you're not seen as rude, but not respectful to a point where you're seen as boring. Despite her need for others to like her, she's not really a people pleaser. Sure, she /likes/ pleasing people, but she also prioritizes herself—well, in certain situations, at least. trivia/other/extra: - I want her to be a really lore filled and relationship motivated character, so I'll try to have her talk to as many cats as possible! - eventually her want to be liked will become her actually wanting to become "perfect", and holding herself to very high and unrealistic expections - the bow tie... its so cuteeeee she's just a lil gentlewoman/lh - nicknames are gonna be Lou, Lulu, Lobster(oorp), Lia, Bell, and Bella! I'll probably add some more later though - enjoys storytelling and hearing stories! - I want her to become a kind of actor.. both in the " putting on a mask and hiding your true self" kind of way, and in the literal "putting on shows and plays and playing roleplaying games with your friends" kind of way! - she should totally start her own theatre group trust... - no current planned relationship dynamics with her family as I just wanna see how things turn out!
