Guys, I have another story to tell... Preface: Ever since about the beginning of 2022, I've been a part of a small youth group that, simply put, is basically just Christian boy scouts. Although one of the main objectives is to have fun, most of the time we are out doing merits or completing service projects during our weekends or time away from school, work, etc. Awhile ago, somebody donated a piece of land with a lake and a good area for campsites to inhabit it, and we've had permanent outposts setting up at the campsite for awhile (keep in mind, this site is probably 100-200 years old, just for reference) There are two wooden docks out at the site; one where people can share testimonies or give devotions and another where you fish off of it or launch boats. It's been awhile since we last updated them, so my outpost decided to go out and rebuild them so that we get a capstone project done and so that nobody gets hurt. After the project was finished (which took a long time, by the way...), our Commander decided that it would be nice to go out and use the dock that you just built by fishing off of it, and it was actually nice to obtain some fruits of your past labors. But along the way, I wasn't paying attention one time when I was reeling in and the line got caught on a small bush (which wasn't too bad since I could have just reached over and untangled it, but whatevs) And, in my defense, I was a little tired that day and had intense music vibes, so since I had nothing better to do, I decided that it would be a good idea to pull a little harder on the fishing line. (Disclaimer: Nobody got hurt in the making of this project, and my line didn't break...) Turns out, when you master how hard to pull on a fishing rod in order to increase or decrease the pitch of a string therefore being able to create melodies, you tend to have a lil bit more fun in life Basically, I decided to write a whole entire song out there on the lake, but unfortunately, I kinda got my phone taken (for reasons unknown to man) and I totally forgot what I played, so whatever I made is between me and the lake. Like, who goes out to a lake and makes an entire song with melodies and all that jazz with a fishing pole?? Maybe next time I'll bring something to actually record... Anyways, that was something that happened in my life that I just felt like sharing (cause why not...)
·Credit to God for all he has done for me (which just happens to be everything...) ·The background was generated but I honestly have no idea who I got it from so credit to them XD ·Credit to my outpost and all of the people who come together to shape us into strong Christian men
