contents inside of project listed here if you're more comfortable with reading it here in the desc: #001 - introduction heeelllooo my name is kat! my pronouns are she/her and I am 14 years old (turning 15 in 2 months as I am writing this). i've been a dbder since since October of 2025. i have 8 pets, i play the flute (marching + concert/festival), and i enjoy floating around dbd in my free time. my timezone is PST. #002 - leadership/managing experience? ˖ i used to manage featured studios a lot on scratch a while ago meaning they were temporarily active from being on the front page so i'd say i have a plentiful amount of managing experience. ˖ i have had lots of moderation experience on other offsite platforms as well, undergoing many more eventful/much more intense scenarios that wouldn't happen to occur on scratch (which is another reason as to why i'd say i can handle stressful situations). #003 - why i want to be a manager ˖ different by design has posed as a huge safe place for me, and i would absolutely love to manage such a wonderful studio. i'd aim to point the studio to success and growth, all while maintaining a healthy setting for all of it's members. i have been considering creating a manager application for a long time and have been awaiting the time that applications would open. #004 - why i'd be a good manager ˖ i have contributed an intermediate amount of resources revolving around rulesfor the studio which you can find on my page, and I hope to bring more! additionally there are dbd oocs and a fun interview project that i've created,, showing my activity and involvement in dbd! ˖ bringing more light to dbd's qualities and sustaining a safe environment for everyone under my management would be my top priority. ˖ during stressful state of affairs, i am able to maintain my composure. ˖ as a manager, I would actively ensure supervision be provided at any time I am available. ˖ i feel as though i have the emotional maturity + intellectual ability to take up this role. - my downsides ˖ i may go offline at (not often) unexpected times and stay offline for an hour or two (typically only on tuesdays + thursdays). school + band keeps me quite busy on certain days, giving me less time to manage the studio. ˖ i tend to express my thoughts and opinions very clearly, and sometimes people take it the wrong way. i am actively working on articulating my views in a way that doesn't seem rude or disrespectful. - studio improvement/how i'd improve the studio ˖ first of all, i highly encourage keeping discourse out of the studio (drama is against the rules anyway, but it may be difficult to contain/disclose). if something is to occur in dbd, i'd advise taking the drama elsewhere and if it were to continue then i'd say to just lower the countdown; especially if the entire studio gets involved. drama has been a huge issue in the studio recently and i would love to see it not be as much as a problem studio-wide. ˖ i want to better the studio to the best of my ability. that means working together with other managers, re-working features of the studio, or even taking criticism when needed to enhance my managing skills. ˖ lately, dbd has been going a little downhill, and as a manager i would like to contribute to cleaning it up a little bit here and there. - availability (scale 1-10) ˖ 6/10 on school days. 8.5/10 on weekends. ˖ although school can sometimes get in the way i still find a way around being active, as i do fairly well in school.
