Feather found himself walking back to his room to see if Lav was okay. Feather had been *ahem* rough during their... workout. He slowly pushed the door open, finding Lav curled up like a cat under the covers, still sleeping soundly. Feather sat gently beside him, reaching out to gently brush a strand of hair out of his face. "Wake up, sleepyhead," he purred, leaning down and placing a gentle kiss on his cheek. Lav whined as he woke up, using his hand to shield his eyes from the sun. "nooooo," Lav complained, curling up even tighter around himself. "You gotta get dressed," Feather murmured, purring softly in Lav's ear. The sound seemed to calm both of them down a little bit. Feather wrapped his arms around Lav's waist, pulling him out of the blankets and into his lap. Lav whined loudly at the loss of warmth, snuggling closer to Feather instead. "Nooo...!" "Yes. C'mon, get up." Lav just whined, burying his face in Feather's chest fluff. "Come up. Up." Feather kind of grabbed Lav's hips, gently forcing him to stand up in front of him. Lav paused for a moment a very faint hint of red meeting his normally pale cheeks, while Feather's fuzzy face remained as white as snow. Lav looked down, his face going completely red as he realized he still didn't have clothes on. Feather laughed softly, getting up to get him a change of clothes. "You look like a tomato," Feather purred while he picked out an oversize black hoodie and sweatpants, then tossed them at Lav, who grumbled at the comment, instantly getting changed as quickly as he could. Feather leaned against the wall, distracting himself with his phone, letting Lav have his privacy. He hummed softly, absentmindedly going to text Searchlight as if nothing had happened. He froze before he clicked on their profile picture. Searchlight was gone. Everything -- all the memories of yesterday, the way Feather had basically used Lav as a rebound, the way he felt while he got the news that he would never see Searchlight again -- hit him like a truck. His breath caught in his throat, and his eyes welled up with tears. Lav, who was struggling to get his hoodie on, looked over. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked softly, tilting his head. "Nothing," Feather mumbled, quickly wiping the tears away from his eyes. Lav slowly waddled over, resting his weight on one foot. "Feather?" "It's nothing," he hissed, failing to fight back more tears as his chest just seemed to get tighter and tighter, then he mentally swore at himself. S&*t. He was having a panic attack. Time seemed to stop for a few moments. He gasped for breath, leaning against the wall for support. His eyes welled up with too many tears to fight back as he sobbed quietly, desperately struggling to breath, his chest heaving with the effort. He slid down the wall to sit, tears falling uncontrollably. Lav crouched down in front of Feather, asking if he was okay and if he needed anything, though it was clear he didn't know what was going on. Feather vaguely gestured at his chest, trying to indicate he couldn't breathe, though it was no use. Lav just couldn't understand what was happening. Feather eventually choked out a strangled "panic attack," hoping that those lavender eyes of the demon in front of him would understand. Realization dawned on Lav's face as he finally put the pieces together. "Okay," he said, kneeling down in front of Feather, "can you try to take a deep breath for me?" Feather struggled for quite a while before he slowly got himself to take a somewhat deep, shaky breath, the tears gradually slowing down. "Yeah. Yeah, that's it," Lav praised softly, reaching out so his hand hovered near Feather's shoulder, taking half a second to make sure he was okay with it before his hand rested on Feather's neck. "It's okay. I'm right here." Feather nodded a bit, closing his eyes and trying to take a deep breath. "Good job, Feather," Lav murmured, closing his eyes for a moment, "you're doing good. Just keep taking deep breaths."
