»—— - ⁺˖✧⸝⸝ - ——« About me: Hi! I'm @Taurloth. I love hardcover books, pot plants and the colour green. Any pronouns are fine. My hobbies are fencing, bushwalks, and daydreaming. I've joined a number of RPs on scratch and hosted one myself. Mostly I prefer human or humanoid RPs but I can't find any as organised or active as gens, plus it's cool to see how much effort people put into their characters here. I hope you like my application! Kit I'm applying for: I'll be applying for Victorykit. Their design is so pretty, and the orange ear flourishes are a nice touch. Plus, it's great to find a litter with active parents and a good group of siblings. I've been wanting to join Urchinclan for a while, because it seems to be the most interesting clan in terms of lore. Why should I win: Great question! I think I'd be a great choice for Victory and here's why: - I've given them an unique, well balanced personality. Most gen rpers like their cats to be chaotic, and Victory would be a great contrast from that, being calm but not without their own moods and thoughts. - I've written what I think of as a detailed and creative application. I've planned out many small details that add character such as mannerism and habits and I've provided many examples throughout the personality section to show I'll be able to write well and stick to Victory's personality during RP. - Lastly, the goals of grinding, getting them 'buff' or making it to a highrank won't be my priority during RP. I will, of course, try to get a decent amount of fighting exp considering the battle rule, but I'm more focused on writing well, creating an interesting character, and building lore and fun relationship dynamics for them. »—— - ⁺˖✧⸝⸝ - ——« About Victorykit: Pronouns: they/them Gender: nonbinary Sexuality: aromantic and asexual Personality: -Detailed: The first thing anyone will notice upon meeting Victorykit is how quiet they are. In a conversation, they preferer to listen and observe than speak, and seems to sit entirely still, never fidgeting or wriggling. This peace is often mistaken for a tentative nature or simple lack of things to say, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Victorykits' mind is an ocean of thoughts. When they're calm, they're pondering. Sometimes this will be the next move in a playfight or how best to climb a rock, but most often they'll be making observations. They are always one to notice the small things around them, a shadowed pattern of leaves against tree bark, an ant making it's way across a leaf or the feeling of warmth of a rock left in the sun. They are utterly and completely in awe of the world around them. To Victorykit, it's calm is a beautiful place and not one to be disturbed with meaningless noises. But no sea is without it's storms, and they are quick to slip from this state of calm into frustration, when their wide sea of thoughts becomes a rapid whirlpool of confusion. They hate the noise of camp in it's busy or energised moments, and will be quick to snap at their fellow kits, however irrationally, when their loud playing is the cause of this stress. Never one to raise their voice, Victorykit will express this anger through hisses, glares, or quiet but sharp words, made all the more noticeable by the contrast from their usual still. They distance themselves from clanmates as a result of this frustration, preferring to watch from the side-lines than join a game and often content with their own company, just enjoying their thoughts, alone. While the clamour of Urchinclan is frustrating to Victorykit, they are strangely intrigued by the beautiful uproars of it's territory. It's in these that they discover their adventurous nature. It starts as leaving the nursery to watch storms as a kit, then being delighted by crashing waves when they first leave camp and see the ocean. Such events are marvelled over by Victory, who loves to get as close to them as possible, mesmerised by the chaos, and the beauty that remains within it. This adventurous streak, however, will always be kept in check by their thoughtful nature. If they want to climb the highest rock to get a good view of the sea, they'll search all around for the safest way up. If they want to swim during a storm, they'll wait for it's calmest moments and find the most sheltered shore. -Simplified: (+) Calm, thoughtful, imaginative (=) Quiet, cautious, curious (-) Quick to anger, antisocial, judgemental »—— - ⁺˖✧⸝⸝ - ——« Research: None required for the moment. I don't currently plan to give Victory any disorders, but I'd definitely be open to it if something came up irp.
»—— - ⁺˖✧⸝⸝ - ——« Ideas + Plans: i- Learning to fight: When Victory realises what fighting is really about, they'll start avoiding it and training, never wanting to even imagine themself hurting anougher cat. This will change due to some point during their time as an apprentice (perhaps a battle or they/a friend lose a fight? Knowing Urchinclan something will come up soon enough) when they decide they will do anything to avoid anougher situation like that, and start training day and night to make up for the lost time. ii- Friendships: Victorykit wouldn't get along with just anyone. For one thing, their too easily annoyed and won't like most of the other kits in the nursery. Cats who are loud or chatty would bother them, and they'll think lowly of kits who go around boasting. They all seem to think they'll be leader one day, but Victory doubts many of them will make it past apprentice. Because of this, they'll hold fast to the few friendships they do make, the few cats who don't cram the space with meaningless thoughts. Their quietness also makes it hard for cats to get to know them, and an ideal friend will be someone who doesn't mind it and understands that their silence doesn't mean that their not listening. Making friends and getting to know their family will be my priority for Victory as a kit. iii- Loud: Victory spends most of their life being silent, happy to blend into the the background if it means they'll be left in piece and putting their energy into observing rather than disrupting. For the most part, they're content with this, but sometime in their life I want them to find something so urgent they care so much about, something overlooked that they need people to pay attention to that they suddenly change, screaming out their message in the middle of camp just to get it noticed. »—— - ⁺˖✧⸝⸝ - ——« Trivia: + They love stories, and can sit still for hours listening to them. + They have a habit of staring while their thinking. This probably comes of as odd, but Victory is too engrossed in their own mind to notice. + Their favourite scent is coastal flowers. + Favourite sound is heavy falling rain. + Walks very slowly and always stops to look at the scenery, much to the annoyance of anyone unlucky enough to be stuck on patrol with them. + Favourite kit game is probably hide and seek. + Loves bouldering and will occasionally join competitions, despite their hatred for the loud atmosphere and crowds that come with these events. + Very relaxed posture, except when they're mad or frustrated. + They won't join a playfight before making up a story in their head about how they got into the fight. »—— - ⁺˖✧⸝⸝ - ——« The first artwork is Victorykit's reference from the litter by @mausical- The second is done by me The third is not really an artwork but a short piece of writing I made with Victory's personality in mind. »—— - ⁺˖✧⸝⸝ - ——«
