5 controversial spop opinions because why not (loona reference?) ALSO !!! when i say controversial, i mean like, actually CONTROVERSIAL, meaning /PEOPLE WILL DISAGREE./ NOT meaning outright hateful because im not THAT mean i think 1. nobody is actually promoting people in the spop studio for activity. not sure what the process is to qualify for promotion, but it's certainly not just being active, because there are so many curators that are twice as active as like half the managers, and they've been active curators for a long time. some people visit the studio and then leave a comment like once a week and somehow get promoted 2. being aesthetic and chronically online is the only way to actually get popularity 3. im sorry but i physically cannot listen to most spop songs </33 a lot of og songs are super offbeat, and a lot of times in group covers, one member is offbeat (either their fault or just bad mixing) which throws off the whole song- idk why it's always just one </3 and also, managers pick members for the group that have no chemistry whatsoever. the lines themselves sound great, but their voices don't fit together at all TT (i knoww spop is just for fun and i'm not hating, like i genuinely don't mind this, i just /personally/ don't enjoy listening) 4. the use of generative ai in spop is way too normalized. like wdym people genuinely debuted a group full of ai cloned voices from idols like ew no thank you ????? first of all the idols didn't consent to their voice being used and also it wastes so much water and energy 5. some people will legit judge non-aes/spop scratchers just for existing and then give no context as to why it's bad (ex. "umm what is this... @user" "wait i dont get it TT" "oh uh okay.. ;-;") (not targeted, i've seen several people do this) extra: yall NEED to start adding trigger warnings. i dont have any triggers but a lot of people do, and you should respect that. also there are like 10 year olds here #ogsixsevenerinereal #omgimdancing #yuzuwillgetaphone
