Kit I'm applying for: I'll be applying for Gloriouskit. Funnily enough, "Glorious" is also the name of one og my favourite songs. It's from the album Black Holes and Revelations by Muse and I would defiantly recommend checking it out if you don't know it already. Why should I win: Great question! I think I'd be a great choice for Gloriouskit and here's why: - Glorious's goal is to become as her name, Glorious. She'll be a strong character who has firm faith in her principals, and I'll stick to this in RP, portraying her values and decisions well. »—— "It rockets through the universe" ——« About Gloriouskit: Pronouns: She/her Gender: female Sexuality: aromantic and asexual Personality: -Detailed: Glorious will accomplish greatness, or at least says she will. She's a constant optimist, not that a situation will get better, but that she can make it get better. She would be a great believer of the motto "never give up", cliché though it may be. She has trust in the power of faith and that when inspired cats will do great things. This often get's her in trouble, as she's overconfident and will leap into action overlooking the obstacles in favour of the glory at the end. If arrogance is her fatal flaw, Glorious's greatest asset is her determination. She believes she can pull through any situation and works hard to support this. Her morals, her goals, her friends, anything she cares about she will always be ready to work for, even when her refusal to give up leaves her clawing in vain for a lost cause. Glorious is also stubbornly loyal, to her friends and clan, but mostly to her ideals. She'll develop a strict set of principals throughout her life and will do her best to stick by these. She's very noble, always doing whatever she insists is the right thing. Whether her idea of the 'right thing' is refusing to fight or actively seeking revenge as 'justice' will depend on the events that occur as she grows. She's very dramatic, always insisting that the smallest of achievements is a grand victory and smallest of problems must be demolished. This tendency to exaggerate extends to both her mannerism and tales. When she's happy, she's walking in bounds with her head up and bearing a grin. When she's mad she's hissing, yowling, arching her back and clawing the ground. And when telling stories, particularly those of her own accomplishments, well, who can blame her for taking a little... creative licence. Though while exaggerating the size of a fish or success in a spar may come naturally to her, Glorious absolutely refuses to tell a lie. To her, these are evil things and a cowards way out. They are the claws of every treachery and deceit. By her reasoning, if you stay with what is right, if you follow through with what you want, then you should have no reason to lie. And if you don't have the strength to own what have done, if you can't call yourself proud to reap what you sow? Similar to with Victorykit, I don't have plans for any disorders but would give her one if it made sense after irp events. I think I'd be more likely to give Glorious a physical disability and more likely to give Victory a mental one.
»—— "But I still want more" ——« Ideas + Plans: i- On Urchinclan Glorious is very principled and sticks firmly to what she believes in. Finding out about Urchinclan's darkforest connection could go either way for her, and I haven't decided which. - i.a: Starlight Glorious has her morals, and she's going to stick with them. As much as Urchinclan loves to praise the dark forest, it's occupants all have their reasons for being sent there, and none of them are pretty. It's a place of murder and corruption and she refuses to support it. She leaves Urhcinclan, turning her back on her family and friends to stay true to the warrior code and what she believes is right. - i.b: Take a Bow What does she owe Starclan? Nothing. They sit in their heavenly haven and let the clans suffer. Glorious has no faith in them. Her childhood in Urchinclan has lead her to believe that their ruling is unjust, and that crime can be justified. She chooses to stay loyal to her home and family, worshiping the darkforest cats for their bravery in standing against the laws that sought to confine them, and vowing to do the same herself. ii- What's in a name Right from the start, Gloriouskit adores her name. Glorious. She couldn't be prouder when introducing herself to other kits. She loves the idea that she is something truly special. Something capable of brave and strong deeds that will be remembered for generations to come. Something glorious.
