Press the green flag to start this cellular automaton. Based on the Langton's Ant cellular automata, this program will, after about 10,000 generations, start building a stable "highway." When the"ant" is on a white space, it changes the color of the space to black, turns left, and moves forward to the next space. Otherwise, it changes the color to white, turns right, and moves forward.
I was inspired to make this after I saw a reference to it while I was researching Conway's Game of Life. I find cellular automata to be extremely fascinating.
