Instructions in-game. The difficulty slider determines how fast the balls move in general. They affect the points you earn and lose. After a cat attacks, it must wait 0.4 seconds before attacking again. If you let a ball fall down without hitting it, you won't get a strike.
The 6th game I made since middle school! Update Log: Started construction on around 1-1-2026 and finished on 3-1-2026 v0.1: Release! Combo mode is a little buggy. 1-23-2026 v0.2: Attempted to balance distances covered by the ball in Combo Mode. Attempted to fix animations. Not done yet. 1-30-2026 v0.3: Improved animation times. Shouldn't fix them entirely. Nevermind, animations are mostly fixed. 2-5-2026 v0.4: Finished Combo Mode. The game still isn't done. 2-6-2026. v0.5: Changed the Difficulty range for Combo mode, from 0.6-1.4 to 1.0-1.8. Slightly buffed the bounce from juggling (4.7 to 5) 2-11-2026. v0.6: Changed up scoring rules in Combo Mode. 2-12-2026. v0.7: Nerfed bounce power on both gamemodes. Supposed to make it harder. Also added the strike indicator. 2-25-2026. v0.8: In combo mode, a Scratch hit in the combo sequence is Z and Slice is X. Anything ending in ZZ or XX resulted in a wonky pre-dunk animation. ZZX or XXZ resulted in a high chance for the ball to go too far. So all combos end in XZX or ZXZ. 2-25-2026. v0.9: Made Basic mode easier. Made everything hide on game over. At one point, fixed bugs. 2-26-2026. v0.10: Added Adaptive Mode, which is an optional pre-game setting to have the difficulty increase or decrease based on how you play. 2-27-2026. v0.11: Finally supports mobile controls. Tap the cats to have them hit the ball. 2-28-2026. Final Update: Removed Adaptive Mode and fixed rank screens. 3-1-2026. KNOWN ISSUE: Combo mode breaks if you mess up a combo. Oops.
