New and Improved version of https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1196255589/ For fast rendering: https://turbowarp.org/1241362825/?turbo Controls: ________________________________ R: render Mouse: Change view of black hole Mouse + C: Change view direction Scroll Wheel: Zoom in and out Mouse at the top to toggle advanced options press 1 to launch light ray at mouse position hold space to simulate trajectory In preview mode, the black surfaces are the event horizons (inner and outer) and the red surfaces are the ergospheres (also inner and outer) Things inside the ergosphere region must rotate with the black hole, Things inside the horizon region must move toward the center. After crossing the inner versions of each of these, these effects no longer take place and space becomes regular again. With spin values higher than one, the horizon vanishes and you achieve a naked singularity. The ergoregion is still present however, since it is still spinning.
Note: all light rays are simulated back in time to see where they came from to enter the camera. It is capable of simulating regular objects trajectories too, but needs some modification to the code which I might put out as a different version. Differences from last version: __________________ - New coordinate system, uses Kerr-Schild instead of Boyer-Lindquist, better for simulating across the horizon and near the poles - You are now able to view the trajectories and the geometry of the black hole without distortion - Fixed Issue so frame dragging is now correct Things that still need to be implemented:_________ - Doppler effect/Doppler Beaming - Aberration of light (if observer moving) - Gravitational Redshift/Blueshift #Black Hole #Spinning Black Hole Tracing Relativity
