The way it works is that each digit represents whether it is currently the first or second half of the days current: half, quarter, eighth, sixteenth, etc... Made out of spite after I saw the most terrible "binary clock" which just represented the individual decimal AM/PM time digits in binary. I also had a friend (@rams906) that made a similar project to this one a while back. The main difference being that theirs was "analogue" and mine is a digital representation, as well as the fact that mine take into account time zones (for the most part) Disclaimer: doesnt work in newfoundland
