And on the Creatureful account???? What timeline r we living in……. Jokes aside, even though I’m on hiatus / not on my main, still wanted to make something for the 4 year anniversary of soas! It may have ended a hot second ago but the story and characters have a lot of sentimental value to me, so it’d be like a crime if I didn’t draw at least something Speaking of soas though!! I’ve mentioned this a couple times now here and there, but as of late the story has actually been going through a rework! Yes it does feel kind of like I’m committing a chapter 20 against it but that’s what ‘kill your darlings’ is supposed to mean after all. In all honesty it is REALLY not the best and super messy in a lot of places, and if I’m being real I am kind of sad it’s the story I’m likely most known for here on scratch considering it’s quality, but I’m sure that’s soon to change with how much I’ve been Cricketcryposting lol. I still maintain the goal of one day having Cricketcry and Lakestorm duel jousting-style for the title of most recognizable Quill oc and have Cricketcry win. I mean they’ve fought literal god before and won so I’m sure they can win against a Floridian murder cat I’m still trying to organize all of the plot holes and nonsensical storylines within soas, but right now I’m thinking it’ll likely go through a pretty large rework. The only real concrete thing I have to share off the top of my head is the reason for the timeloop thing. In short, a longgg long time ago Glacierwillow (mentioned him in the recent art dump, apart of the TUT / Narcissus story) led a like. religious uprising in the Floridian clans. Which is a WHOLE other story in it of itself, but his actions caused the Floridian StarClan to curse anyone of his bloodline to go through a timeloop given that they had blue/green heterochromia seeing that Glacierwillow had it. Aaand you can probably guess where that led for Lake GRKFHDKSJ (if that sounds super incomplete btw then don’t worry that’s partially because it kind of is. Also though I am NOT doing the explanation justice there’s like 3 other things I forgot to mention in relation to it but that’s for whenever I loredump about Glacierwillow) Soas being a comic definitelyyy made me rush and hodgepodge the story a lot, but now that it’s sort of it’s own separate thing, I hope to undo a lot of that messiness and make it actually coherent. Happy birthday to Lake and the rest of soas, you guys have been here for as long as a full presidential term’s duration :] Next year it’ll be old enough for kindergarten how fun!!!!
