First project yippee!!!! So Age of Inprisonment is finally out!! I do not have a switch 2, but I know a lot about it and I’m gonna rant about what I love and all the characters and try to keep the spoilers to a minimum, the largest spoiler is I may say what happens in the end or who some of the characters are and maybe some lore behind some of the characters. Also maybe some plot points. Im also gonna say some things comparing Aoi to Aoc. Scroll down to get to the rest, I'm forcing you to scroll so that you are aware of spoilers before accidentally reading the bottom part first. ———————————————————————————- keep scrolling (Spoilers under this line) ———————————————————————————- You may be wondering how I know stuff about the game if I haven’t played it before. Well, click b on your keyboard and find out…. Yes, I watched a video of all the cutscenes… (click b again to go back to the original photo) I would have played the actual game, but my parents will never allow me to get a switch 2 or age of imprisonment because it's too expensive, and I already have a switch 1. Also the video is really good and you should watch it if you can’t get the game. warning: I watched the video 2 months ago so I forget some of it so please comment if I am wrong at any point. ———————————————————————————- So I didn't really like Tears of the kingdom, I just thought that breath of the wild was more nostalgic and had a better storyline, and I would say the same about age of calamity(AoC) and age of imprisonment (AoI), but AoI has a lot of good moments that keep the story interesting and entertaining. Aoi's plot is sort of split into 3 parts it seems like, correct me if Im wrong, Zelda arriving and meeting everyone, gannondorf claims to be a better person, and Sonya dying starting the imprisoning war. In age of calamity, it was kind of just "before the calamity, during calamity and everyone's selling, and the other people arrive and save everyone," whereas Aoi had more parts to it like Gannondorf possessing the construct to go after rauru and the sages. - I know this part is like the possessed gaurdian in Aoc but there is more to the construct in Aoi. ———————————————————————————- I really liked how in Aoi we got more details and personality behind the sages. My favorite sages are Qia and Ardi, but that may be because Ardi had a lot more character design and Qia is a Zora and sort of resembles Mipha. (I also noticed that the Gerudo and Zora sages were female, and the rito and Goron sages were male, same as the champions in Breath of the wild and Aoc, Idk if this is a coincidence or not but let me know.) I like Qia's design because she resembles a narwhal and I think shes pretty (but how does the horn fit under the mask????). I personally don't like the Goron sage (idk his name) but I don't really like gorons because all they do is eat rocks and sleep. Also they are sort of the opposite of the Zoras because they live on a volcano with a lot of lava, opposed to the Zora's living with a lot of water. I like the concept of the knight construct, and how a shard of the master sword empowers it, but I feel like it should at least talk like the other constructs or show emotion because it resembles a human. I think that the korok going on an adventure with the knight construct was a great idea, and it was kind of funny watching Calamo get dragged around the whole time and fake-complaining about it, but why did he turn into the ancient tree stump? I forgot that the ancient tree stump even existed until I watched the video, and it would have more impact if it was a more significant place, like if Calamo turned into the great deku tree or the tree in front of the spring of courage. ———————————————————————————- THE ENDING WAS SO SAD AND DEPRESSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The knight construct died, rauru basically died too, Zelda turned into a dragon, and Calamo and the knight construct were forgotten. WHY WAS IT SO SAD!??????!?!?! I WAS LITERALLY CRYING AT THE END!! I don't really have anything else to say about the ending except that it was so sad. ———————————————————————————- If you like Zelda and you have not played age of imprisonment or watched the video, I would suggest doing that, the video with all the cutscenes was great, it was 3 hours long but I watched it on 2x speed with no sound so it was only an hour and a half. thank you for reading through all this, have a great day and maybe watch the video. ———————————————————————————-
