Since Itchy is now officially out, I thought its only right that I share what I contributed to the app. All the way back in July, @-Archon- messaged me asking if I could make some graphics to be used as part of the onboarding for the app when you first open it. He gave me a general idea of what it would look like and what might work, my main goal was getting a style down and replicating it for all of the different icons. After a bit of fiddling I got the messages icon finished, then once I got another icon completed, I had the style figured out. It’s a FX heavy look that tries to make the icons look like they have depth (see the Itchy logo interpretation as a good example). Over time @-Archon- would come back and ask for new icons as the app took shape, such as the one for the custom controls and security. The last one ended up being the log in icon, which shows up when you go to log into your Scratch account via the app. Throughout the development of Itchy I’ve had the privilege of seeing it get polished and testing out new versions as @-Archon- worked away on it for months on end, its a massive achievement and I’m super proud of both @-Archon- and @design-ileb7 for the amazing work they’ve done here and for letting me contribute to it, even if its in a much smaller way. Please go check out the app if you can, its been a huge undertaking for these two and deserves some love!
