I just received a notification from the Scratch Team. And it was about "I don't let people remix my projects". I didn’t say you can’t remix my projects. What I said was that you cannot use the music or art from my project without permission. I honestly don’t understand why I should remove the text that explains this, especially when it’s clearly my work, my property. I created that music, I made that art, and it’s frustrating to see how many people steal it without giving credit. It’s not just a minor issue; it happens all the time. A lot of people use others art and music in their projects, pretending they made it themselves, and I never get the recognition for their work (in this case, my work). It's not just about credit, though, it’s about respect. If someone else’s work is being used, it’s only fair to ask for permission and give them the recognition they deserve. You might ask, "Why don’t you just report them?" Well, I do report them, over and over. But it feels like nothing ever happens. I’ve submitted so many reports to the Scratch Team about people stealing my stuff, but it seems like nothing changes. I get that it’s not easy to monitor every project, but it’s really discouraging when it feels like your efforts to protect your work aren’t taken seriously. It’s also frustrating when people don’t respect the rules or the community guidelines. Scratch is a platform where we are supposed to encourage creativity and respect, but when people take credit for other's work, it undermines that whole idea. I’ve been trying to be patient and fair, but honestly, I’m starting to feel like I’m the one being ignored in all of this. Maybe if more people understood the impact of stealing someone’s hard work, how it feels to be overlooked, how it feels to see your creations used without your consent, things might change. It’s just disheartening when it feels like there’s no accountability, and it’s even harder when it feels like the people who are supposed to help aren’t doing enough. At the end of the day, I just want to protect my work and make sure that people respect the creative process. Everyone deserves to be recognized for their effort and originality.
