? How to Use the Facial Pointer System Welcome to the amazing facial control system! ? This project lets you interact with buttons, text fields, and all kinds of objects in Scratch using only your face. Forget about the mouse and enjoy the magic of Face Sensing! ?️✨ ?️ Main Controls ? Left Click To perform a left click (the classic main click): Simply tilt your head to the left. Hold the tilt for a moment, and the system will automatically register the click. Perfect for activating buttons, selecting options, or copying text. ? Tip: make sure your nose is positioned over the object before tilting your head. ? Right Click To perform a right click (for opening menus or secondary actions): Tilt your head to the right. Like the left click, it will trigger when the tilt passes the set threshold. Use this gesture to perform special actions without using a mouse. ? Interacting with Objects ? Buttons (Clickable) Buttons only respond if the facial pointer is over them and the corresponding click is detected. Each button has its own unique ID, preventing multiple buttons from being activated at the same time. Perfect for games, menus, and scoring systems! ? ? Text Fields Text fields are activated with the left click. Clicking on a text field will copy its content automatically. Use this for forms, names, messages, or even secret codes. ? Interaction Priority Clickable buttons are checked first, then text fields. This ensures your facial pointer doesn’t activate objects by accident. Keep your face over the desired object and perform your gesture to trigger the correct action. ? Visual Indicators The pointer changes appearance depending on its state: Pointer: normal pointer Clickable: over a button Text: over a text field Each time you click, the pointer will show a visual effect and sound to confirm the action. ?✨ ? Camera Button Some projects include a button that shows if the camera is on or off. The indicator blinks when active, simulating a real recording button. You can turn the camera on or off with a normal left click on this button. ? Tips for Best Use Keep your face visible in front of the camera for accurate detection. For optimal experience, sit at a comfortable distance with good lighting. Combine left and right clicks for advanced actions, such as games or interactive menus. Try using multiple clickable objects and text fields; the system is designed to handle many elements efficiently. ✨ With this system, your face becomes a full controller, leaving your hands free to enjoy the experience! ??
