Note: This is the Lite version of the level pack, so it does not include any music! The music is a key part of the pack, so If you are able to, please play the main version. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1231418160/ ★ ★ ★ Appel: Crystalline Peaks ★ ★ ★ Appel: Crystalline peaks is a level pack featuring 57 total levels, ranging from beginner, to some of the absolute hardest levels ever beaten. This has been a long awaited project, and was in development for over 9 months! ★ ★ ★ The OST ★ ★ ★ ACP Features a complete Soundtrack created by @tclengineer and @Wyatpenguin . You can find all of the individual songs here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1217831299/ ★ ★ ★ Need help with beating levels? ★ ★ ★ If you need any help beating any levels, there are a bunch of resources. First up, check out the replay forum: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/849587/ the very top of this forum has replay codes for every main level in the game, so you can watch how to beat the level! For the more difficult levels, there are also a chance that the completion is posted on my YT: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCtoLDuGnEqjzhVdUAxe9HKg?scrlybrkr=4dc0995b and lastly if you really just aren't figuring it out, feel free to ask! The Appel community is a friendly place, and myself and others have no problem helping you figure it out :) ★ ★ ★ Controls ★ ★ ★ Base Controls: Use WASD, Arrow keys, or Z&X to control your character! I would recommend getting comfortable with the crouch button, as it is used quite frequently! 0: Press 0 to save a replay! After pressing 0, pause and then hit save replay. If you do press 0, you are not able to continue playing from there. Sidejumping/Wallclimbing: This is one of the most essential bits of Appel tech, and it lets you infinitely climb walls! To do this, wall jump, then afterward tap away and press jump, while still holding towards the wall. This trick is very precise, so it’ll take some practice! Spikedge: on the edge of blocks with spikes on them, you might notice there is a bit of ground on it. You are actually able to land on, and jump off of that tiny bit of ground! Other edges: you are able to do spikedge type things on a lot of different stuff! These things consist of Trampolines, Crushers, blue platforms, H50+ Burthas with a block on the corner, Saws Litejump: This is not the hardest trick in Appel. TO do a litejump, tap jump for 1 frame, then crouch before hitting the spikes above you. Roofhang: while being able to falljump or sidejump, gain a sizeable amount of downward momentum, and press jump right after you pass underneath the block. UCC/DCC: to perform a DCC, jump onto the wall, crouch and then tap away once. Appel will now be moved slightly off of the wall. Now, right before touching the corner tap away again. This trick is frame perfect, so good luck! If the wall isn't able to be clipped through, you will die. To do a UCC, do the same inputs as a UCC, but with upward momentum. Crouch Spam: You are able to touch spikes for 1 frame without dying, so when crouching underneath spikes, you are able to uncrouch for singular frames to increase momentum. I would recommend spamming with your dominant hand on S&X. Corner Push: With relatively high momentum, do a max coyote frame jump, and then crouch to avoid bonking your head on the ceiling. Spikeclip: While having enough downward momentum, you are occasionally able to clip through spikes by crouching, if you started from the right height. This is possible as you are able to touch spikes for 1 frame before actually dying. SCWJ: With enough downward momentum, buffer a jump input while clipping into a wall spike. This is an extremely precise trick, and only used in AmAbC & the practice level. ★ ★ ★ Share your accomplishments! ★ ★ ★ To effectively share your accomplishments, save a replay code by pressing “Replay” after clearing a level, then pause, then press save replay! Oftentimes, these replays are longer than 500 characters, so I would recommend checking out the replay forum here: ★ ★ ★ Difficulty System ★ ★ ★ More on this here: ★ ★ ★ Settings & Input display ★ ★ ★ Press I to use different Input displays! There is also a variety of strings on the main menu, including choice of difficulty system, and going straight into the editor for easier practice. ★ ★ ★ Credits ★ ★ ★ First, I would like to thank - for making nearly the entire soundtrack, and play testing along the way, and creating Cracked Orchid. - For so much play testing and feedback on the levels - For ruining a perfectly good level, and playtesting. for making a music engine for the path of pain music ★ ★ ★ Changelog ★ ★ ★ Nothing yet :)
