I stand in a place where the walls never sleep, Where silence grows heavy and secrets run deep. The air tastes of choices I never would make, A world made of shadows, of fear, and of fate. They handed me orders I never sought out, A whisper of menace, a command wrapped in doubt. The path wasn’t chosen—it fastened to me, Like chains made of duty I never could see. A puppet of circumstance, bound by the thread, I move through this darkness with dread in my head. The weight of a life—any life—on my hand, Is heavier here than the walls I withstand. Each step feels like thunder in chambers so still, A heartbeat resisting the order to kill. But fate is a tyrant, and choice is its throne, And I walk through this place where no mercy is known. Yet deep in the quiet, a spark will ignite: A vow that I’ll carry beyond this bleak night— That though I was twisted by forces unseen, My soul won’t be taken by the dark in between. So here in this prison with no sky above, I’ll hold to the pieces of things that I love. For even if forced into actions untrue, I’ll fight to remember the person I knew.
Music was all done by me! It's my first time doing something this big, so I hope you enjoy it!
