About me! Hello! I'm Lynxear2014Therian, but you can call me Kale, Bingo, or Kai. I use She/they pronouns. I have been on scratch for almost a year, and joined the Gaehive around 2-3 months of having my account. I'm in the EST timezone. I love reading, chilling with my besties, my girlfriend, and video games. My hobbies are reading, karate, Girl Scouts, guitar, and more. I am a neurodivergent alterhuman lesbian demigirl with adhd. Online times and age! I am 11 years old. On weekdays, I would be on around 7:40 to 8:20 am then around 3:00 to 8:15/30. On weekends, I'm on most of the day. Now, to the managing stuff! I would be a good manager because I am kind and aware of my flaws. I know I, along with everybody else, am not perfect. Nobody is perfect. I don't try to say I'm the only one who is perfect, instead that nobody's perfect, because nobody is. I'm a kind person, at least, thats what I think. I enjoy spending time with my friends and always try to cheer people up when they're sad. I respect everyone's opinions, no matter what they are. Now, Downsides. There are quite a few, and I know. As I said before, we all have flaws, and nobody is perfect. First, I'm an extreme procrastinater. Mainly on art, but on lots of other things too. I might procrastinate on lowering the points, or a closure, or opening the studio after a break. I might forget to pass the host position to another person, though that is more unlikely than the others. I also might not be able to manage on some days due to being extremely busy during the week. Why I want this position? Well, I was one of the first, if not the first, lgbt people in my school and I've been gay since I was like, 8. I realized I was lesbian around 9 or 10. I became a demigirl around the age of 10 near my half birthday. Being lgbt has changed my life in so many ways, including getting a girlfriend, going to a youth group, and the community has been amazing. I want to be a manager not just because of the position, but because I want to help the studio and the people in it in their lgbtq journey. What sets me apart? Well, Im young, so I would be able to manage longer due to being in the scratch age range for a longer period of time, and I'm a fast learner, so I might be able to figure out manager things quicker than others might be able to. I think Im a relatively fun person to be around, and I might be able to host some small games for anyone online to participate in if desired. I honestly don't know what I would improve about the hive. There are a few things that could change, but I have no idea how to change them. I guess I would just make it a funner place to be, and occasionally host small games in-studio to play if desired. I think being a manager has a lot of responsibilities. You need to make sure you're updating the count, closing the studio when necessary, checking suggestions, inviting people, helping choose new managers when the time comes, enforcing rules, and more. And that's a lot for one person to do in one. It's not a set of toys on an ad that are "each sold separately." Its the full combo set. I tend to struggle with lots of responsibilities, but I will try my hardest to do it. I recommend (Matt), (Charlene), (Taph), and (Kasper). I think all of these people would be great for the manager position. I see them around the hive a lot and they all are funny, kind, and enforce the rules. I think they would be awesome for the responsibilities of manager.
