Cute possible future designs! Click for next Okay! Hey guys. So, it’s almost been a month since Wisestar’s Lullaby ended. Crazy, right? Since the ending, I’ve gotten some people saying they want to see more, and asking about a sequel. Which is fair, I did bring it up a couple times. So I would like to talk about it for one final time. It was something I was debating not doing because I have other stuff that I’m in the really early stages of work for which includes a book and two comics. But you know what, this is going to sound stupid and silly but the Arctic Hearts comeback was super inspiring. I was like: “Wow this could be me” and it got me thinking about the future comic again. It also got me thinking about what I said about the sequel the last time I talked about it: The story of WL, and these characters, wouldn’t be complete without A Lullaby For The Future. I still stand by that opinion. The ending of Wisestar’s Lullaby is pretty fitting. Surprisingly so. But it’s also depressing. And it leaves me with a feeling that this story couldn’t possibly be over. It’s like the stories need each other to exist. Like… WL is the question, and the answer is ALFTF— :is immediately shot 57 times: But yes. Anyways. It’s not like I’d be starting from scratch. A lot of the ground work for the story is already written out, and I even have an ending. I just have to flesh it out and organize the structure. And most of the characters already have preexisting designs, I’d just have to adapt them for the sequel. And do actual designs for the background because the backgrounds for WL were booty. This is not a promise that ALFTF will become a comic. All I will say is that I am currently working on writing it. But I will say that you all can at least expect one mini comic from the world of that series, hopefully sometime soon. Maybe two. But, imagining for a moment that I am working on the sequel, let’s talk about some changes. It may not be on scratch. Or maybe I’ll just post it on scratch until it becomes too dark, if it gets too dark. It will not be formatted in the same way as the original series. It will be formatted more like a graphic novel, think like a manga or the warrior cats comic series. The panels will just be broken up for readability on scratch. Because of this, there will probably far less chapters with more content, so there will be much more time between chapter releases. Art style will also change. There’s not going to be a complete 180 in the way I draw these characters and their world, but there will be a recognizable difference in the art from the original series and the sequel. But yeah. Hope you all are happy about this update. See you all later^^ Music is Ayano’s Theory of Happiness, covered by Will Stetson. I think I used this song before but who cares—
