arrow keys, but the final one will be WASD supported. Devlog 1 this is only the groundwork for my game. and yes, the darkness is meant to be suffocating and difficult to see through, so you will have to really search in the final map for clues, books and keys.
thanks to @StevePiPi for the basic platform mechanics- most of the platform mechanics were from him, but to make it compatible with my game i've edited them, added bits and modified jumping. in the final game, the platform mechanics are estimated to make up less than 10% of the code, but this Devlog was a creation of basic ideas/atmosphere. Ghosts in the final one, lighthouse is undone, and about 10 pages of backstory/plot to write.
