Hello to those of you still left. I just wanted to take some time to talk to you all about why I left Scratch in the first place and why I won't be coming back. To many people's surprise, after the success of my animation tutorial, I did not make any more projects/animations. 1: Because I am an adult and have better things to do than make Scratch animations in my free time. 2: Because the Scratch algorithm sucks, it just does. It always has. More of a lack of algorithm, so to speak. I made animations on this platform for years as a kid and was never appreciated for my (cringey) work. I did not want to use my moment in the spotlight to steal a chance of recognition from the next generation of Scratch animators. I remind you that you are free to view my discography of old projects/animations as much as you want. I am sure the old me would have been proud of how much his work paid off. No matter how long it took. And a message to the animators, creators, and developers of the future. Never give up, no matter how little recognition your hard work may get, know that someone will see its beauty someday. I never knew it would be this hard to say goodbye. I wish I could have left you with more. I hope this platform flourishes, and I wish this platform's users well. With that said, Goodbye, my dear old friend, Scratch. (Not Canon)
