Hiya!! My name's Joey! I use any pronouns but she / they, I'm transmasc, aroace, gay man, lots of other stuff I can't pinpoint right now but uhh yeah :] I've been a member of the gaehive for about two years??? I'm in the EST time zone, and usually I'm only online during the day on weekdays. --- I believe that I would make a good manager because I have had several experiences in management before, an example being the Writers Palace studio. Sadly, it because inactive, but before then when it was still somewhat active, I was a manager and I personally believe I did quite well. --- I think the main downsides to me being a manager are the fact that I'm not online often, and sometimes have a bit of trouble following the certain rules. Aside from those, I also have a tendency to hold grudges, and fail to open my mind when certain people are involved who I may have had a negative experience with before, or felt disrespected by them. I typically try my best to stay open-minded and positive, although sometimes past history with someone does manage to get in the way :[ --- I would like to be a manager because I find myself very passionate and educated on topics that the studio stands for. LGBTQ issues and also identities in the community are things I love to learn about and advocate for. I believe that something that sets me apart from other candidates is the fact that I have found myself to be highly educated in the more obscure identities of the LGBTQ community. While this may sound like me drawing a blank, I have my reasonings. Which also leads into my next answer (what would you improve about the gaehive if you were a manager?), and that is I would try to shine a light on less known identities that may not feel quite as represented. --- I have seen from my time on the gaehive what the managers are put through, and I am thankful for those who chose to stay, to continue working in management on the gaehive. I want to become a manager to truly understand how it feels, and attempt to find ways to somewhat lift the burden. Managers are required to watch the comments of the studio and edit the points counter at any moment it is called for, mediate fights between members, deal with studio-wide events, etc etc. I believe I will handle these responsibilities well. --- Two people that I believe would make good candidates for promotion are @BetterKeepCalm and . These people are both people whom I have had very positive interactions with both outside of and in the gaehive.
