i just wanted to quickly make this- essentially, the short way to say this is PLEASE ping me (if you'd like, of course) :sobbb: i am someone very prone to being unmotivated, and pings can help me gain some of that motivation! however, I am quite busy and sometimes don't have the time to respond so it may take me a bit- regardless, i love pings. you honestly could ping me every hour and i would not mind one bit. i will never get mad at someone for pinging me, and if i go on a sure hiatus, i'll likely let you know if it's relevant- please especially ping me if: - you see me reply or be active somewhere else (ive likely forgotten or lost the thread and would love a ping) - i haven't replied in a while. a while can be anything, whether thats an hour or a month. i don't mind if it's been a year and you want to continue a thread, i'd be happy to continue it lolol - to let me know something. literally anything lol - reminders to get something done art wise (for example, if we're doing an AT or I've promised to draw you something within a certain deadline, like litter art). I would love pings for that ^^ there aaaare some exceptions and things to note: - if i openly ask you not to ping me, please don't ping me- this only applies once, however. if i respond after asking you and then don't respond for a while, feel free to ping me again! - i am someone who strongly fears confrontation and have a hard time understanding tones. so please be somewhat kind with pings. ive had very few moments where people are unkind, so anything is likely fine <3 - please don't ping me if I've promised to draw you something if it's not mutual or has a deadline. like free art. this has rarely happened, but it does make me more unmotivated TwT annnd that's basically it. feel free to ask questions in the comments or ping me for anything in the comments as well <33
