Oh boy, I hope I win! Click/Space to Scroll Plaintext Version: Hello, my name is Lukas! I'm an artist and very gay (as evidenced by the fact that I'm on Gaehive). I've been on Scratch for a bit over a year now and I love it here very much. My pronouns are They/It/He. I have been on the Hive consistently for about 3 months(?). I'm in PST, so whenever I mention a time, it's in PST. My age range is 12-15. I will generally be online off and on from about 7 am to 4 pm, as I have school. After that, I can usually be online from 5 pm to 9 pm straight. On weekends, though, I will have all the free time. Upsides: - I am online pretty frequently - I am good at enforcing rules - I'm pretty sure people like me - I will not hesitate to dole out punishments when necessary - I am not afraid of trolls Downsides: - I am a procrastinator -I may forget I am on shift and will neglect to check the studio (I will try really hard not to tho ^^) - I'm not great at explaining things sometimes, so if someone needs help, I may not be of much use :\ I would like to be a manager because I like being a supportive role-model of sorts and I like it when people can look up to and trust me and I can help them. I like helping people a lot. What sets me apart from other candidates is that I, at least in my opinion, am particularly good at handling conflicts and calming people down in an orderly manner. I am also funny and down to earth, which are traits people often like. If I were promoted, my main goal for attempting to help better the Hive would be discussing and potentially implementing better protocols for trolls with the other managers. From what I've seen, being a manager means: Respectfully enforcing rules, helping out confused people on the studio, inviting new members, managing some of the other branch studios, dealing with conflicts, properly handling mass events (such as spam attacks), and of course, being a silly guy. The two other candidates I would like to suggest are Xenobi (@XeXe- / all pronouns, minus masc. terms) and Matt (@BetterKeepCalm / Any/All pronouns, except She/Her). I would like to suggest Xenobi because I read their application and it was honestly great. They seem like they'd do a lot of good for the Hive if they were selected. I will be honest, I don't remember ever seeing them around the Hive before, so I don't know how they've positively changed the studio before, BUT, I am sure that, if they are chosen, they will continue to do good. Now with Matt, it's a bit of a different case. I have seen him around the studio many times and he always does such a good job of being a manager that I forget he isn't one. He is always very nice to people, while also enforcing rules in a way that doesn't feel accusatory. I'm sure that, if he were promoted, he'd use his new-found position to continue being awesome.
