Story: The world has been at peace thanks to Mega Man's efforts against Dr. Wily. But, one day, respected scientists all over the world start going mad! Using their Mechanical creations, Each of the 8 Doctors have started their war to take over the world! Their leader being none other than our very own Dr. Light! Suddenly, a capsule crash lands near mega man, and Dr Wily runs out of the smoke. "Wily?" "Mega Man...! You have to do something about those Scientists! Only I can take over the world, not them!"
