Fluoritescar dies in a fire before the kits are even a moon old. Skyfall leaves Urchinclan for a loner group, the Pyrothys, and Gloriouskit is raised there with Honourkit. Her other siblings choose to stay behind. She starts going by Glorious, abandoning the clan suffix, and gets to know some of the other Flickers. Skyfall is hit by a train and dies when Glorious is two moons old. Tempest, a friend, also dies after being hit by a monster/car. Glorious develops a hatred and fear of two-legs and a determination to do her best for Pyrothys as a Spark. But life in the mountains is hard. In such a frigid climate prey is scare and gaping cliffs and giant birds seem to lurk in every corner. Glorious and Honour both starve shorty after being made Flames.
