ok so I see SO. MANY. people getting furries and therians mixed up and hating on them, and so I want to explain a few things: 1. Furries and therians are different things. therianthropy is like an identity whilst being a furry is a choice. but what's most important: it doesn't concern you if its not hurting anyone, you can think its the weirdest crap in the world but guess what? you don't need to put others down because of it why do I know this? I thought I was a therian in 3rd grade, I don't anymore because idk js. don't really have my friends who did it with me anymore (because I don’t think any of us really were therians. I think my one older friend js saw it on TikTok and was like oh yah that looks kewl) and also I think it's probably not true but eh that's not the point. its not fair to treat somebody differently or make fun of them just for expressing themselves. Like buuddyyy how boring is your life that you bully people on the internet for clout. Like. That’s js pathetic buddy ALSO somebody is NOT a furry because they run around on all fours. 2. furries are people who dress up in fursuits created to mimic a "fursona". a furry character is simply a bipedal animal with humanlike traits (ex. hands, hair, etc.) 3. "cringe" is a form of bullying. no matter what the intentions. you're still making fun of someone for who they are, do you seriously have nothing better to do with your life? 4. where the discourse towards furries comes from: 1. some furries are z00s, but not all, I've actually heard that most are very sweet. its ridiculous to hate an entire group of people for someone's own dumb decisions 2. Children think that they’re weird, and it’s honestly kind of funny cause have you never seen any movie ever?? Dude pop culture is overflowing with bipedal animals. Zootopia, Pokemon, half of the animated movies you will ever see, heck, even Mario. Like bro I don’t understand is bright colors and furry creatures an alien concept to you I’m sorry are we living in the same world??? 5. someone is only a furry if they say they are, as well as that someone could draw animals on two legs and still not be a furry, and furthermore someone who simply draws or likes (not in a weird way) animals is not a furry please study before hating. as a matter of fact maybe don't hate or treat people differently because they're different from you [rant] I made this because I constantly am hearing about kids hating furries. hate is so dumb?? like really what is anybody (including you) getting out of it?? what's the point?? they aren't going to change,, I dont get it. what's worse is that nobody thinks about anybody else. do you ever consider how the things you're saying reflect on the furry community and gives them a bad look? and then there's other forms of hate, but specifically on gay people. kids use "furry" or "gay" as an insult and its so stupid, what is your issue?? I'm so sorry these people's forms of self expression hurt your feelings so much?? also is it really your business who someone is attracted to? I mean c'mon whatever happened to privacy also. dude. get a life like nobody is listening to your whining and nobody enjoys it PLEASE think about how you are affecting the world around you, be more aware, there is no space for ignorance in this world and not everyone forgives easily. watch where you step before someone you care for takes your harsh words to heart
