Press the arrow keys (or WASD) when the Pointer-Tile points in the corresponding direction to gain SCORE. Your objective is to gain as much SCORE as possible. COMBO is gained based on how many successful inputs you hit in a row, incorrect inputs while having a high COMBO will cost you more LIFELINE. LIFELINE is a mechanic that is represented by the size of the Pointer-Tile, If it shrinks too small then it's game over. Comes with 4 different 'main game modes': - Quickfire; timer is set to 30 seconds along with your COMBO's giving less benefits/punishments, - Standard; 80 second timer, - Marathon; 6 minute timer , - Endless; test your endurance while the difficulty slowly ramps up over time and only ends when you fail. As well as 2 'special game modes' made so far: - Unpointed; the Pointer-Tile no longer points and only changes color (2 minute timer), - Buttoneer; makes the WASD and Arrow keys separate inputs essentially doubling the amount of brainpower required to gain high scores (minute & a half timer). Planned 'special game modes': - Him; you must also guide a certain familiar face with your cursor to avoid a certain familiar foe of his (100 second timer), - Revolution; adds the threat of attackers trying to destroy the Pointer-Tile with your only defence being the artillery cannon mounted onto the Pointer-Tile (2 minute timer), - Ordeal; you are punished harsher for mistakes and gain less LIFELINE from successful inputs (4 minute timer), - Imposter; the Pointer-Tile will occasionally display Evil tiles that will damage your LIFELINE significantly if you hit the shown direction and instead you have to hit the opposite direction the Pointer-Tile is facing (3 minute timer), - Anything and Everything; (all of the time.) adds the mechanics of 3 different 'special game modes' with the timer adding all of the selected game modes timers together then multiplying by 0.5 (also does the same with the point multiplier except without cutting it in half).
