Press start and it will generate a random star map based on a seed. Use arrow keys to move around. If you want to input a seed, just press space and type the seed you want.
I found this algorithm that can generate pseudo random numbers using a seed, which means that if you use the same seed, it will produce the exact same star map. It's surprisingly hard to create an algorithm that generates numbers with seemingly no pattern, using a seed.
