I’ve been on scratch for 4 years now, I'm very active online (8/10), although this may spike since the holidays are coming! Starlingkit will also most likely live a very long life as I keep my characters for a long time :) Kit I’m applying for ➤ The one and only Starlingkit! Gender & Sexuality ➤ Cisgender female, she/her ➤ Unlabeled as a kit, Sapphic as she grows older Personality ➤ Positive Traits: Enthusiastic, Hyper-focused/creative, Observant ➤ Neutral Traits: Scatter-brained, talkative, Bit blunt ➤ Negative Traits: Impulsive, Fidgity, Emotionally Reactive 「 Descriptive Personality」 ➤ Starlingkit is a high-energy firecracker whose brain moves faster than her body. She approaches the world with wide-eyed, unfiltered enthusiasm, viewing every new object and idea as irresistible. Starling gets genuinely, deeply excited by tiny details and will talk endlessly about her discoveries, often steamrolling over others in her yapping rush. While her impulsivity and difficulty settling down can make her frustrating to others (and herself), her capacity for hyper-focus allows her to create dazzling, complex games and scenarios. Her biggest internal struggle stems from her emotional reactivity, a small correction or perceived slight can trigger an immediate, overwhelming wave of pain or anger, leaving her to become extremely defensive of what she believes, leading her to feel defective or wrong, and she struggles to regulate herself.. ➤ 「 MBTI」 ENFP ➤ 「 Alignment」 Chaotic-Good RP example ➤ The air in the nursery hung heavy, dampening Starlingkit’s fur and making her skin itch with unused energy. Why is it green? If I ate the green moss would I turn green? Should I eat it? No, wait, that moss is too spongy. I hate spongy things./ She lifted a paw, scraping her tiny claws silently along the smooth, cool dirt floor, enjoying the small, rough sound she made. It was a pleasant sensory anchor in the overwhelming quiet. Her eyes darted to the tail of the queen sleeping nearest her, a dark, plush lure. She had to touch it. Just one soft bat. She crawled forward on her belly, her tongue sticking out slightly in concentration, every nerve ending focused entirely on the silky texture of the tail tip. focused. ‘I’m going to poke it. So soft. When I poke it I’m going to make a tiny, perfect dent in the fur—’ A tiny noise. the shifting of a pebble outside, snapped her focus instantly. The tail was forgotten. She launched herself backward, startled, her heart thumping against her ribs. ‘The pebble! It moved! Is it a monster? No, wait, it’s just a stone. Why was I touching the tail? I shouldn't be awake. I’m doing it wrong.’ A wave of scalding heat rushed up her throat. She dropped her head, burying her nose into her paws, desperately trying to quiet the overwhelming noise inside her skull. "Just be still!" she hissed internally, frustrated tears pricking her eyes. The simple act of rest felt impossible, yet the failure to achieve it was already tearing at her self-worth. She squeezed her eyes shut, wishing she could trade her fast, loud brain for one that just followed the rules. [Continued in Notes and Credits]
