In 2009, Kelly Brook, the actress and model, briefly joined the Britain's Got Talent judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Piers Morgan. The judging desk was extended, and a new 'X' and buzzer were added to accommodate her. However, after only one week of filming the auditions, she was removed. The official statement at the time cited that having four judges "complicated the format."
