Avery grabbed my hand, and we quickly ran inside. I still couldn't believe I had been in the air, soaring like nothing could stop me. Me and her rushed into the great hall, only to find EVERY single student crowding around a girl. Avery raised her eyebrow. " What happened to 'OMG AMELIA OOH YOURE SO COOL!' " She said sarcastically. I just shrugged. I trudged forward and tried to break through the crowd. A girl with dark brown hair, dark eyes, and glasses bumped into me. I tapped her on the shoulder. " Um, excuse me, what is everyone freaking out about!!" I screamed, trying to be louder than the shrieking kids. " THERES A GIRL WITH AMAZING POWERS!! SHE HAS MORE POWER THAN YOU!!" She shouted, then continued trying to get through the crowd. More powerful than me? I was slightly intimidated by this person, but then I saw her face. Does brown hair, green eyes, a really mean and sassy Slytherin ring a bell? Yep, the one and only Juliette was there in the middle of the crowd with a big, fat grin on her face. " EVERYONE! As an ELEMENT goddess I demand that you stop yelling! " She said as she twirled, trying to seem all powerful. " Element goddess," Avery exclaimed, " THATS JUST A MYTH... right?" " I don't know, but why do I have the feeling she's lying? " I said as I glared at Juliette. " SHOW US!!" A girl shouted from the crowd. Juliette dramatically waved her arms. Please, nothing was going to happen! But it did. Plants grew from the floor lifting her up, while fire made the room all bright. Light from the fire reflected into the tiny water droplets flying around, creating rainbows all around the room. Wind shook the giant plant and made it sway angelically. Avery had her mouth wide open in shock while I stared. It couldn't be. Just then, Arina and Brandon ran towards us. " What's going on?!" Arina gasped. "The whole building shook!" Brandon exclaimed looking worried. With a shaking hand, I pointed at Juliette. Brandon's eyes grew wide. " That's... not possible!" Arina stammered. I started breathing heavily. This wasn't possible. That was happening? Brandon reached over and took my hand. I jumped a bit and blushed. He quicky grabbed his hand away. " Sorry I- " He started. " No its fine! I was um-" I stuttered. " I didn't- " " It's my fault I-" " I forgot about..." He looked away shyly. " I've forgot a lot lately. " I said trying to make him feel better. My face turned bright red, and I couldn't think straight. " OH BRAAANDON!" Juliette squealed as she walked towards us. " I have powers now! I can do anything!" She said twirling her hair around her finger. Brandon just looked disgusted. " Uh huh...?" He said as nicely as he could, slowly backing away. He is so polite! Juliette giggled and inched closer. I was praying she would stop. Then, my father broke in. " What is going on in here!?" He yelled, obviously annoyed. " Everyone, get to class!" He demanded. Everyone scurried off to their classes. He walked towards me. " Including you and your friends." He spoke. I nodded slowly. When I looked back at my friends, they we're discussing the incident. " Seriously?! The second you start dating Amelia, the thinks she can take you away with fake POWERS. " Arina exclaimed angrily. " YEAH! What happened to her and Jacob?! " Avery yelled. I pretended to not hear it. Dating? Avery grabbed my arm for, like, the third time today. " Come on, we actually need to get to class. "
