+-+ Here's my entry +-+ (PS. mustered up a quick sketch of her cuz I was bored) Start here v ________________ It was an unusually quiet evening that night, the birds had quit chirping, and the wind was still, almost as if watching, maybe even waiting. A cloaked figure slithered through the streets, the shadows consuming their tiny body. Nearby, an old inn glowed with light, cheerful shouts echoing from inside. The figure slowly walked to the entrance, pausing, then barging into the now silent inn. All eyes stopped and turned towards the figure, who made their way up to the counter, taking slow and careful steps. The innkeeper, whose name was Bruce, hurled around and gasped, his old eyes widening. The figure stopped at the counter and said with a clear confident voice: “Room for one….please.” The voice was unmistakable, it could only belong to one person, but then, why would SHE be here? Someone muttered “Great we have two royalties now,” before someone shushed them and the innkeeper stuttered and barely whimpered out a “We’re full,” before the figure grabbed a few knives that were hidden in their, or should I say, HER cloak, and threw them at the innkeeper, grabbing him by the clothes and pinning him on the wall. The figure snarled in the innkeeper’s face and spit out a “I’m sure you have ONE room available, it'd be a shame if your inn ACCIDENTLY got burnt down huh?” Bruce’s eyes widened, panic written all across his face. “Ofcourse, ofcourse, I just remembered we have a VIP room that’s free,” he stuttered, on the verge of tears. The figure grabbed her knives, and pulled, the metal shining in the light of the fire. “Why how convenient,” she said, sitting back in a very polite way, grabbing a drink and saying “I’ll be out of your fur in the morning.” Bruce was still ruffled by the attack, but with a nudge from one of his customers, he straightened up and replied “Oh, of course, have a nice stay.” The figure turned and headed towards the rooms, before Bruce added, “Your majesty.” The figure spun around so fast, it looked like she must have moved faster than the speed of light. Bruce cowered under her stare and shivered. The figure regained her senses and calmly said, “I am no longer to be called that, my mother has made it very clear hasn’t she?” It was official now, the figure was not just a traveller looking for rest, but the ex-princess of Ivory Kingdom, Delilah. Most of the dogs in the inn screamed and rushed out, and no surprise too, as Delilah was known across all four kingdoms as the “Bloody Ex.” That name was gained when Delilah had killed her brother and one of her sisters in pursuit of power she would never be able to gain, as she was the youngest and smallest princess at the time. However, one dog remained and tilted their head, staring at the Bloody Ex with widened eyes. The dog was a legend known to everydog, he was the “Silver Saviour” of the four kingdoms. THAT nickname was gained in a famous battle against the shadow dogs when the saviour, aka Leon, risked his life and fended off a whole army to save the queen of the Sapphire Kingdom. Leon’s eyes widened and he rushed to Delilah, wrapping his paws around her and rubbing his head on the shoulder. The remaining dogs that had not fled gasped, suddenly understanding what was going on, moments before the inn door banged open and 20 guards shuffled in, holding their spears to Delilah’s throat……
