It’s time to bring your characters to life! This is where your ideas, your planet’s energy, and our group concept come together. The goal of this assignment is to go from brainstorming to a clear draft for your character, which we’ll later turn into demo designs. Step 1: Review all the information in the project! ✦ ORBITZ Assignment 2 — Reference Guide ✦ 1. Planet Trademark Traits (These are the core personality and style vibes each member should consider when designing their character.) PYRA – Fire, Flare, Leadership Personality: Energetic, expressive, confident, bold Style: Bright accents, flame motifs, warm colors, statement pieces AURORAE – Dreamy, Celestial, Artistic Personality: Charismatic, creative, calm, confidence Style: Airy fabrics, iridescent touches, soft blues/purples, ethereal silhouettes AEROA – Fast, Witty, Bold Personality: Talkative, humorous, playful, daring Style: Streetwear-inspired, asymmetrical layers, bright accents, sporty elements, wind/air motifs FLOREALIS – Nature, Warmth, Grounded Personality: Warm, thoughtful, gentle but strong Style: Florals, greens/pinks, flowing silhouettes, small natural motifs TUNDRIX – Cool, Kinetic, Sharp Personality: Sassy, smart, focused, dynamic Style: Cool tones, structured outfits, icy textures, modern dancer aesthetics You must stick to this roughly but please don't let make it feels strict; although I would like them to have the general aesthetic of their planet, I still want you guys to express yourselves a little bit <3 2. Other Concept Details (Additional points for cohesion across the group.) Group Aesthetic: Pop / girl group-inspired, slight galaxy/space theme, dramatic & visually cohesive Color Palette: Each planet can have signature colors, but overall look will feel like a team Backstory / Lore: Optional at this stage, but small quirks or habits help define personality 3. Reference Guide I made a lil collage in the project to show kinda what the vibe/theme is, each of the planets is here: Once we decide the debut theme, we’ll pick what kinda fashion we’re doing tho. And finally the questionnaire, which will later be reviewed by 1-3 helpers. They will give some advice and discuss with you, and then we will turn these into the first draft of your designs! Required: 1. What is your number one choice for stage name? I know we've gone through this a bunch but we're actually going to officially pick. Don't be offended if it changes bc I just want them to be cohesive across group members. 2. Pick an age for your member. This can be real or fake. Also pick a birth date. This can also be real or fake. 3. Basic personality traits. These should line up slightly with the descriptions I provided and your actual personality, mix them together a little! 4. Cultural/ethnic background. (Recommended to line up with yours but can differ, + I rlly value diversity as this is a global group) Optional but answer as best as you can!: 1. Are there any idols you really like the look of? 2. Other appearance/identity details (build, hair color/style, ethnicity, style, etc.) 3. More specific personality details, likes/dislikes, etc 4. Quirks! Just anything funny abt your character! Yeah I know I ask a lot of questions but I swear it'll stop soon, we're just getting the characters designed and we'll actually start making content.
