Click the orange BET button to choose how many blocks you're going to bet. The bet increases by 1 each time this button is clicked. If you bet more than what you wanted to by mistake, click the red CLEAR button to take back all of the blocks you've bet. Once you're done deciding how many blocks to bet, click the green DEAL button to deal the cards. Then, 5 face-up cards will appear. Click the cards to hold them. (A lock will appear below the card.) If you held a card by mistake, click it again to unhold it. Once you're done choosing which cards to hold, click the yellow DRAW button to swap unheld cards (the cards without a lock below it). If you're already satisfied with the hand you're dealt, hold all 5 cards and then click the yellow HOLD button to end the round without swapping any cards. You may get your blocks back depending on how good your hand is. (See the Notes and Credits section for more information on the types of hands.) After the round ends, click the blue NEXT button to start the next round.
If you run out of blocks, you can click the green flag to start over with 20 blocks. You cannot bet more than 5 blocks in one round. The deck includes 50 cards: five of each card numbered 1 through 10. There are no suits. Therefore, flushes and straight flushes do not count. The types of hands and their descriptions are as follows. 5 of a kind: Five cards of the same number. 4 of a kind: Four cards of the same number. Full house: Three cards of the same number with the two remaining cards of the same number. Straight: Five cards in sequence. A 1 is always the lowest card, so hands like [8] [9] [10] [1] [2] do not count as straights. 3 of a kind: Three cards of the same number. 2 pairs: Two sets of two cards of the same number. 1 pair: Two cards of the same number. The payout values for each type of hand are as follows. 5 of a kind: You'll get 500 times your bet back. 4 of a kind: You'll get 50 times your bet back. Full house: You'll get 10 times your bet back. Straight: You'll get 5 times your bet back. 3 of a kind: You'll get triple your bet back. 2 pairs: You'll get double your bet back. 1 pair: You'll just get your bet back without any change. If your hand matches one of the types described above, the words corresponding to the type of your hand in blue will appear together with the words YOU WON (number) in green below the type of hand. For example, if you bet 4 blocks and get 2 pairs getting 8 blocks back, the displayed text would look like this: 2 PAIRS YOU WON 8 In this case, the words 2 PAIRS would be colored blue and the words YOU WON 8 would be colored green. If your hand belongs to none of the types described above (no matching cards, no straight), you'll lose your bet and the words TRY AGAIN in orange will appear.
