Space/click for next This might be incoherent, I apologize I don’t really have many “gendered” traits when it comes to designing my characters- the only real thing is how I draw the chest, but even then I have exceptions to that rule. Generally I don’t really care about whether or not a character “looks like a woman” or “looks like a man” unless a characters gender is tied to their arc. Now I don’t usually have any issues from other people about this, but there is one character who has been repeatedly mistaken for a woman; Alastair. Now, I can see the confusion, as he has longer hair and is one of only two characters who have eyelashes (which is a bit of a bigger thing in itself but I don’t feel like going on the sexism rant). While he is currently the only character whose been misgendered like this, it got me curious about how people interpret my characters gender based off design, since, as stated above, I don’t really go out of my way to make characters “look like” men or women. In this project I have included 6 characters, I would like for you, the reader, to look through each and say whether you think they’re masculine, feminine, or neutral and explain why. In theory this would work better if you’re less familiar with my characters, but even if you do know them, I still think you should have a go at it. I’m quite curious to see what people say.
