I use she/her pronouns and am 10-14 years old. I'm a big Warrior Cats fan and also a digital artist. I used to have an old account years ago and did some roleplaying on there, but I'm fairly new to roleplaying. Take that as you will. ◦ ✦ Mercury does genuinely feel bad about being rude but I think she's scared too apologize and also doesn't know what to say ◦ ✦ She is a lot nicer as a younger kit, but she's also really annoying at the time. ◦ ✦ aro/ace. She doesn't want to waste her time on meaningless relationships when you could be training. ◦ ✦ She kind of wishes to be a deputy, but not a leader. A deputy is a high enough position that she would be satisfied with herself, and while being a leader would make her of even higher status, she doesn't want the responsibility. She knows that her personality is not that of a leader and the clan could not run efficiently if she was to lead it.        .⋅✧ ᴋɪᴛ's ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ ✧⋅ ◦ ✦ Mercury is a very reserved cat. She is very quiet and prefers to be alone and watch from the shadows. She doesn't usually act based on emotions or feelings but off of information and calculations. With other cats, she can be very blunt and come off as rude. She sometimes puts down others to feel better about herself. While she feels bad about hurting other's feelings, she doesn't know how to apologize and usually gives an unauthentic or lifeless apology, or no apology at all. Mercury is very passive and neutral, not usually picking sides if she is a bystander. Beneath her calm, calculated composure, she is insecure and self-conscious. She sees herself as inferior to others and anything she can do is mediocre at best. Mercury fears being overtaken in everything, essentially becoming useless. She used to try to help everyone and comfort them, but she eventually realized she couldn't and didn't know how to do that properly. She gave up on trying to be nice and decided that it was better to show less emotion at all. During her apprentice training, she trains incredibly hard to surpass the other apprentices. She stood up and stretched, careful not to wake the other cats in the apprentice's den. She carefully padded out of the den into the crisp, cool morning air. Mercurypaw went to get a drink, the fresh water cooling her throat as she lapped the water with her tongue. ◦ ✦ Mercurypaw watched her mentor demonstrate. “I would like to request an explanation for the reasoning behind your actions. I am not questioning your competency, I am aware you are superior to me in this subject, but I would like to know if there is anything specific I should copy to ensure the best results.” ◦ ✦ [from Mecury’s childhood] “Huh? Oh, I’m sorry that happened to you. Those cats are just mean bullies.” Mecurykit puffed up her chest. “We should go show them who’s better!” ◦ ✦ “You are doing it wrong,” Mecurypaw snapped. “Your paws are too loud, you're going to scare away the prey and we won’t catch anything. Here, you can watch how I do it.” Mecurypaw paused, seeing the expression on their face. She considered apologizing. 'No, how redundant. I am simply correcting an error in a technique,' she thought to herself. '...That was probably incredibly rude though. Ugh, their so much better at me than fighting.
