-------------------------------- Controls -------------------------------- - A and D to move through the solar system - Hold SPACE for hyperspeed travel - Click the icons at the top of the screen to travel to each location --------------------------------- Credits --------------------------------- Programming and Art by me - Inspired by the website "If the Moon Were Only 1 Pixel" by Josh Worth (https://joshworth.com/dev/pixelspace/pixelspace_solarsystem.html) ------------------------------ Bonus Info ----------------------------- - Around Earth, you can see the orbit of the Moon and if you look in the right place you might find the Moon itself circling the Earth - Close to Mars you will see 2 circles. Those aren't rings, but instead the orbits of its 2 moons, Phobos and Deimos. - Around the gas giants of the solar system (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) you will see some rings. Saturn's rings are the brightest which is why most people forget the other gas giants also have rings, just dimmer ones - At the very end of the simulation, you will find Pluto. The largest minor body in the solar system, demoted from planet status as the previous criteria would skyrocket the planet count to over 5x its current amount of 8. Around Pluto you will see a circle which is the orbit of its partner Charon. Charon and Pluto are actually a binary system, which means they orbit each other due to them having a similar mass.
