I haven't done one of these in a while, huh. Credits are at the bottom. If you want to do this, remix the original. Questions: 1.Q) When did you first realize you felt “other‐than‐human”? A) I found out I'm alterhuman around 6 years ago. I don't know when I realized I felt non-human, though. 2.Q)What are your kin/theriotypes? A) Northwestern grey wolf, arctic wolf, most wild cats, leopard eel, wyvern, dragon, werewolf, space (2001 a Space Odyssey), lynx (Meadow), Terrorbeak (Don't Starve), and GLaDOS (Portal). Also possibly Gordon Freeman (Half Life or one of its fanfics) or some type of dog. 3.Q) Do you experience shifts often? A) I get phantom shifts almost constantly, envisage shifts often, mental and perception shifts semi-rarely, and bilocation and feral shifts rarely. (also sensory shifts. can't believe I forgot those) 4.Q) Do you do quads? If so, do you find it difficult? A) I used to. At first I found it difficult, but it became easier, 5.Q) How do you define your kin identity (spiritual, psychological, past life, etc.)? A) Mostly psychological or unknown. 5.Q) is there a specific place you go to be your true kin self? A) Not really. 6.Q) Do you use gear? If so, what gear? A) I have a lot of gear- blankets, tails, ears, and clothing give me the most euphoria, though. 7.Q) Have you ever been public gearing, if so, what happened? A) A lot, but most of it isn't very visibly gear, so I'll only count the times I've worn ears and tails. I've been called a furry a few times, but not much else. 8.Q) What’s your “alter self” nickname (if you have one)? A) I don't have one. 9.Q) What’s the best shift memory you have? A) Probably a wolf mental shift I had in a forest. 10.Q) Do you ever practice vocals? A) Yep. Mostly canine vocals, though. 11.Q) Do you listen to Autumn J? (if no, you rly should!) A) Used to. I don't like her music that much, but that's probably just me. I might go through and listen to all of her songs so I can rank them on a tierlist, though. 12.Q) Does your family know about your Therianthropy? A) Maybe? I think so. I've never officially come out to them, but I've talked about some of my and my system's alterhuman experiences, joked about it to them, and talked about it around them. 13.Q) Do your friends know about your Therianthropy? A) Yep. 14.Q) How do you find being a non-human? Upsetting, or fun? A) It isn't particularly bad or good. Dysphoria sucks, and disconnection from humanity can feel bad, but I don't get either much, and being non-human and euphoria can be nice, but most of the time it's just neutral. I wouldn't be human, though. 15.Q) What is the worst thing someone has ever said to you when you expresses yourself with therianthropy? A) Nothing that bad. 16.Q) Do you have a den? A) Yeah- my bed. 17.Q) do you have any Therian/Otherkin friends? A) Yep. 18.Q) Do you think you will continue express yourself with this as you get older, or do you think you will ignore it? A) I'll probably stay how I currently am- expressing it, but not shaping my life around it. 19.Q) Do "fake" Therians annoy you? A) In my 6 years in the community and 1-2 years running a studio, I have met 2 fake therians. There are not as many as people seem to think. I guess they annoy me, but they're so rare that I don't really think about them enough to get annoyed by them, if that makes sense. Misinformed people annoy me more tbh. 20.Q) Any advice for anyone struggling to express themselves? A) Don't just stick to masks, quadrobics, tails, ears, vocals, and paw gloves. Find other things which make you euphoric or connected or shift. It doesn't have to look like gear- it could be a mask or a tail, but it could also be a shirt, a plant, a plush, a necklace. a blanket, or something like swimming or art. Find what works for you, not just what you see in the community. Questions by , answers by me ( ) Music is The Milk Carton by Madilyn Mei and While Ball by Miracle Musical
