I've been seeing so much more A.I "art" online. I'm so disappointed that we're letting ourselves be fooled into thinking this sad replacement for human creativity is at all beneficial to us. What happened to A.I that cured every disease? Made every country a utopia? Augmented creativity? It never existed. Instead of building upon our greatest traits, it's stealing them; our critical thinking, our creativity, and, unfortunately for many, our livelihoods. A.I is a machine that devours effort and churns out nothing but despair. This isn't even mentioning the fact that these models literally /steal/ work to be trained! I had a project at school where using A.I to generate a "song" was required. I wrote the song myself. I'm asking the artists who read this to please, take action, say something. Don't just stand complacent when your hard work could be stolen next to create the machine that aims to replace you. Sorry if this is a bit all over the place, I'm tired and frustrated. Thank you.
