The full moon reflected perfectly on the surface of the shallow pond, and the surface rippled from the gentle breeze. Nothing disturbed the silence except for the occasional rustling of the trees and the soft chirping the crickets made. The forest seemed to hold its breath, waiting for something, just something to happen. Right on cue, there was a rustle in the tall grass that was more violent than the tranquility that nature made. And, sure enough, the familiar pink figure of a Kirbian popped out of the grass with a star-shaped yellow mount. Kirby quickly sped through the water with his Warpstar, breaking the tiny moon in the surface. He wrapped something with his neck cloak protectively, and his deep blue eyes would dart to the thing once in a while, careful to not let it fall. 'Dedede's going to DESTROY me once he finds out that I took this.... No Kirby, look to the brighter side. He is NOT going to find out. His guards will never find this hideout, anyway,' Kirby thought to himself. The king's guards would search Kirby's house at least twice a week to catch the culprit of the "case of the highly classified artifact". King Dedede did it with every house, hoping to find the sacred jar again. Little did he know that one of his closest companions, Kirby, stole the jar. As he reached the heart of the woods, Kirby patted the Warpstar to stop. He fished out a map and a key that came with it from his cloak, and he carefully followed the map before reaching a specific tree stump. It looked like a normal stump of a tree that was cut down, but when Kirby ducked, what he spotted was a keyhole. "Aha!" Kirby said as he carefully took the silver key and placed it inside of the hole, fitting perfectly. He slowly turned the key, activating a little *click*. Then, he pushed the stump out of the way, revealing a tunnel that went down with a ladder. "Good," Kirby said as he ate the star for the Fire ability. "Let the journey begin..." --- Down, Down, Down Kirby went. After putting the lid back in place, Kirby slid down the ladder and continued his journey after he finally reached solid ground, lighting up every torch laid out in the path to prevent him from getting lost. Despite the burning torches, the tunnel was still dark, and it felt like he had been traveling for minutes until the path opened up to a room. The room didn't have much to offer; it only had a small desk and a stone tablet for a chair as the only furnitures in it. However, there were tons of bookshelves filled with books and other vials that covered up the walls. There wasn't a lot of space to put in an item, but Kirby managed to make some space for the special vial. The vial held a substance, which was star-shaped. It was blackish-blue-and-purple, and though it looked small, Kirby knew how much destruction it had caused in the past. The substance bubbled when Kirby set it down. Kirby sighed. "If only I had more time to stop this.... It's still good enough. It won't activate unless someone opens the bottle." And from there, Kirby traveled back to the surface. ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ Rosie gazed at the egg. It still hasn't hatched, but the medics said that today would be the day. She and her spouse Finn would have a child. A cerulean Kirby with pure-blue eyes came into the room. "Rosie, do you know where the medics are?" "They're getting some supplies," Rosie answered as Finn gently patted the egg. "They'll be here soon." "I sure hope-" Finn broke off as he heard the sound of a Warpstar. "It must be them," he noted as he stared out the window and glanced at the two Kirbians with white robes. A mint-colored Kirbian peeked out from the door. She had a white robe, a hat, and spectacles. "Excuse me, may we come in?" When Finn nodded, she stepped inside with a blanket. An gray-colored Kirbian, who also had a white robe, followed with a medkit and a thermometer. "Salutations. I'm Ash, and this is Mint," the gray Kirbian introduced, pointing to himself and his colleague. "We are the medics responsible for the hatching. Now, how's the egg doing?" Ash gave the egg a little tap, then… *CRACK!* Ash reared back, and he called to Mint, “Get the supplies! The egg is hatching!” As Mint rushed to find them, Ash carefully took the egg out of the incubator. Another splinter formed in the egg. Mint folded the blanket to make a small cushion, and Ash gently placed the egg. The egg gave one violent shudder and an ear-splitting *CRACK!* The room fell silent as the lid of the egg toppled off. A rose-colored Poyokin popped out. It had lilac eyes and lilac feet, and on the top of its head was a lightning bolt-shaped birthmark. Mint announced, “It’s a girl!” The Poyokin hopped to her mama’s arms and chirped; then she looked at her dad with huge lilac eyes. “She… she’s beautiful….” Finn choked. “She truly is,” Ash agreed. “Will you give her a name?” Rosie thought for a moment, and her eyes traveled to the birthmark. “I think Electra may be a good name for her, for her gorgeous birthmark.” “Electra is a lovely name. Electra it is,” Finn decided. He and Rosie gently smiled at Electra. And Electra smiled.
