Real opinions. These are, of course, not supposed to be offensive to anyone, but apologies if they're taken that way. 1 | Everyone's complaining about popular privilege but why are the popular people popular? Because they've done many creative, notable things and/or have really good, high-quality music 2 | Haven't seen this one in a while so I've forgiven and forgotten anyone who's done this, but can we stop posting dumps of screenshots of ourselves just ragebaiting others on dead threads or BL into saying "cancellable" things that, with certainty, they never would have if they weren't falling for our ragebait? 3 | It's insane that Ilume Entertainment made up a unique thumbnail style to set them apart from everyone else, but people saw how popular it made them, wanted that for their companies, and now it's almost mandatory to use some offshoot of it for your company to be successful. Ilume deserved company of the year for that alone 4 | I talked about this in more detail in a special report a few weeks ago, but K-DNSE might not last very long because people will find out who the members are and the novelty will wear off. But speaking of K-DNSE, Bonnie & Clyde is one of the actually good S-pop covers of all time and the hype is a thousand percent deserved 5 | I'm not gonna lie, I thought Ena was someone's secret alt when she joined. But she's posted covers, and even if she hadn't it would be clear that Mission Ent. is her main because of how much time and effort she puts into it. Same with Yula. I believe that's one reason my account has been so popular, since this is my main, I don't have to divide my time between it and a "main" so I can stay committed to it for longer 6 | ERIS is one of the, if not the single trendsetter group of all time. For example, everyone and their mother is still trying to implement lore after almost a year of the ERIS ARG going on. I've also never seen another group have a live concert that isn't just audio 7 | Shipping real people (especially people you personally know, not even celebrities) is weird asf 8 | Why do I have to worry that someone will decide they want me and my IRL friends obliterated off the face of Scratch for simply owning a popular company to support others 9 | Speaking of, to whoever keeps reporting NOVA for fake/exaggerated reasons: It isn't funny and you need to grow up. If you're after popularity, what about eliminating a (mostly) innocent group is going to help you achieve that? To be fair, they did link a server and share the account, but there's room for all of us in S-pop! How would you like being forced to move accounts every other week and start over from zero followers every time you thought you were finally about to make it big? 10 | I don't believe any trolls claiming to be "popular S-poppers" because let's be real. If your covers were doing well and you were someone known for handling drama in a mature way, you wouldn't be turning to the dark side of the force to get those precious notifications rolling in 11 | S-poppers making badly disguised news/S-tuber alts just to glaze themselves is so cosmically funny to me (I think I've seen this a double digit of times) 12 | I'm very glad Irene is in the hands of someone who is handling it responsibly. I was worried it was going to cause a lot of drama 13 | There aren't very many S-pop groups who actually sound good and the people that think that's a problem are one of the real plagues in our community. Go back to your K-pop training becuase God forbid some teenagers on the internet with no professional training are just trying to have fun. 14 | A tripleS lookalike wouldn't be as hard to manage as people say it would be, if most of the activity is with subunits like the real tripleS 15 | If only the late-2024 versions of us, the ones that were convinced S-pop wouldn't live to see 2025, could see us now. 100 hearts back then was simply impossible because of how small the community was. But recently we had three releases in the span of a month that cracked that 16 | But as an ex-GWDFIer, I can safely say that doesn't come without drawbacks. There were people who talked about SH and sent offsite links in the main comments there too, even though both were explicitly against the rules. Any deja vu Thumbnail: Choerry (ARTMS)
