(i really hope i don't sound disrespectful and/or self-centered here) I am leaving the Undertale community. I can't put up with it anymore. While I am/will be forever grateful to the UTC for setting me on the path that's lead me to growing as a person and meeting all of the friends I have now, it has become clear that the community as a whole actively refuses to become a better place. In the five years that I've been here, I've seen so much bullying, negativity, harassment, and dogpiling. I've seen an idiotic amount of bigotry that others have tolerated and even DEFENDED. I've seen people tear the creations of others to shreds for being "mid" only for them to produce something that's objectively worse. And, worst of all, I've seen so many people be outed for doing awful things, with the most recent example being Shayy. Shayy got outed for doing so many awful things to over TWENTY PEOPLE in a 262 PAGE LONG GOOGLE DOC. It stings for me because I was a fan of them, and just like them, I'm queer and autistic. So, seeing them be outed as a disgusting freak was the final nail in the coffin for the UTC in my eyes. I'm not going to stay in a community that will forever be stuck in its ways. Sans sprites, if I even want to keep making them, will only be uploaded once or twice a year at most. Other than that, I will not be making content related to Undertale anymore. I still love the game, but I refuse to give this community ANYTHING anymore regardless of how little attention I get.
