Sorry its late. First we arrived at the show, later than I planned, my trailer was having some issues. So I had to use the fence to groom Tri, she stood nicely till the breeze spooked her she is sill kind of new to showing so I expected it. I brushed her body with a soft brush, she wasn't very dirty as she had a bath and deep clean yesterday and stayed in her stall overnight. I stood on a bucket to comb her mane. I lost balance and fell. Thank goodness she didn't spook and trample me and I had a helmet, my back is quite sore now though.. But I got back up and tacked her up, the next thing we did was go for a nice warm up going in both directions, she did much better than I hoped she would with other people and horses all around, she did spook at a halter that fell through, but I quickly regained her attention, the next thing I did was got my friend to watch her (not pictured) while I went for my course walk, man this course looked a lot easier in picture, a half hour goes by and I'm up! She spooked going into the arena causing me to almost fall but she went through the course amazingly for her first jumping show! After that I took her tack off and hosed her down (not pictured) before I put Jer with the hot walker to cool off while I watched. That last thing we did was go home, she deserves a weekend and some days off after our long show day, she loves to run in our field and the sunset was lovely as I stretched out my back, I'm definitely going to feel it for weeks..
