Bitland: A Pixel Odyssey Game Overview Bitland is a 2‑D pixel sandbox that uses a forced‑perspective camera to give the world a three‑dimensional feel. Right now you can explore, gather resources, craft tools, and build forts by placing sprites such as fences, torches, walls, and more. There are no hostile creatures yet, but enemy AI is on the roadmap. Key Features - Survival‑style loop: collect raw materials, craft equipment, and construct bases by stacking sprites. - Sprite‑based construction: each object is a separate sprite that can be layered, creating the illusion of depth. - Ongoing texture overhaul: sprites are being repainted to a unified palette and added to the game as soon as they’re finished. Planned / Work‑In‑Progress Updates - Mobile Support (Touch Controls for Phones & Tablets) - Health and Hunger Meters (Adds Resource-Management Pressure) - Enemy Creatures (The First Hostile Entities Will Appear in a Later Build) Controls (Keyboard) W – walk forward A / D – rotate the camera left or right Space – jump E – open / close the inventory Left‑click – interact with or break a foreground object 1‑9 / scroll / click – switch the selected item Building Process 1. Open the inventory. 2. Click a tool, fence, torch, or other item to create its sprite. 3. Hold the sprite and click the ground to place it. 4. Rotate the view to see how the structure looks from different angles.
