Why did this have to happen? She had to finish training Diamondpaw! Had to talk to Reminiscencepaw and Fatekit and Spiderkit and her sisters one more time! But she couldn't. She could tell this was the end, could almost FEEL the life bleeding out of her. But she wanted to say something, anything to the cats she was leaving behind. To get the bad out of the way, Shrikeear "Go stuff a rat up your nose." Umbrathorn "My sister and one of my closer friends as kits- We were just like peas in a pod, both in looks and in personality. I will miss you deeply, sister." Morningrise "You were always there for me, even if I was the older sister. We grieved for Cometkit together, both felt guilty about his passing. I never forgave myself for being unable to protect him, but now I'll be able to see him again. Take care of our sisters." Smokepuff "You were so excited when I let you be the leader! I'll never forget the day we met- you trying to sneak into Opaquestar's den, me just being a thorn in your side. You're a great friend, always have been." Reminiscenceshadow "My UrchinClan friend. I hope you and North Star have a good life wherever you choose, although I won't say anything here where ears may pry." Fatekit "I wish I could have been your mentor, could have taught you all I learned. But even if I had lived to see your sixth moon, I would have still had Diamondpaw. I hope your path is bright, whoever your mentor ends up being." Spiderkit "We only met briefly, but I hope you, too have a good, long life." Diamondpaw "I am so, so sorry I couldn't live to see out your apprenticeship. I desperately wish I could have, but even so, I know you will make a fine warrior one day. You caught your first pigeon easily! You'll be okay, though. You will." Moonkit and Streakkit "Although I never expected you, nor did I want to be in charge of you, I regret not being able to see the cats you will become. I only hope you will be able to tackle challenges head on instead of running away, to be able to feel compassion for some even when you feel a deep hatred for others. Keep shining, my stars."
